Lost and Found

Is your child missing something? 

Jacket, sweatshirt, water bottle, lunch box, etc?

If so, please come look through our lost and found, located in the cafeteria.  As you can see, it is over-flowing.  

Please, please, please label EVERYTHING!

Monday Morning Meeting

We will not have a Monday Morning Meeting next Monday, October 28th.  The students will go straight to their classroom once arriving to school.  Due to this, we celebrated all October birthday's this past Monday by singing to them during the assembly.  Ward was even lucky enough to have a Monday birthday and get his name displayed on the big screen!

Counselor

Today we had counselor with Mrs. Davison. She wrapped up the bullying unit and today they talked about 4 major feelings: happy, sad, mad, scared.

We learned "you can feel mad, you can feel sad, but you can't act bad."

I love this!  We learned it's okay to have many different feelings, and sometimes our feelings are strong, but we are in control of our feelings and we can't let our strong feelings lead us to bad choices. We also learned that we choose the way we feel.

Check your child's Take Home Folder for the work they did today during counselor.

What a beautiful view we had yesterday from our recess on the little playground in front of the school!  We are so lucky to have a school overlooking this beautiful area! 

The kids were excited to see the leaves changing colors!
