Our 4th annual Heroes Day was a huge success!
Thank you to all the grandparents, everyday heroes and past and
present members of the military who were able to join us today.
It was great to hear our student essay winners share "What makes America unique," hear the Timbertonix choir sing and meet Miss Missouri Simone Esters! We loved her speech about her heroes growing up (her baton coach and single mother) and watching her twirl her baton. We were lucky enough to have her visit our classroom as well. She played some math games and took pictures with the kiddos. We can't wait to cheer her on in the Miss America pageant on December 19th.
