A Day Full Of Fun!

Today we released our 5 butterflies and checked out our Outdoor Classroom at the same time!
(I couldn't get our videos to upload to blogger, but if you follow our classroom Twitter you can see it there)

We also had a bubbles and chalk day!  One of my yearly end of school traditions! They came home with their own bubble wand as a gift from me.

We of course ended our day with centers.  Something they were sad to learn they won't have in 1st grade!

Field Day 2018

We had a blast at Field Day today!
After 2 1/2 hours of fun, I think they were all exhausted!
Thanks to Coach C and Mrs. Farrar for this fun day!
Turn up the volume and check out the slideshow.

Four of our butterflies have come out of their cocoons!
We will release them next week!

Last week fun!

It's been an out of routine, but fun week!

Coach C joined us for a little dancing in our classroom to get some wiggles out!  He heard the music blaring and had to stop by and check it out!

We took down our "Hopes and Dreams" chart that we made during the first week of Kindergarten and talked about if what we wrote down came true...most did!  Most friends hoped they would learn to read, write or be able to do the monkey bars by the end of Kindergarten and they can!

We tie-dyed our shirts to wear on the last day of school and then had popsicles, an extra recess and a cartoon to celebrate our hard work!
(we will keep the shirts at school to ensure no one forgets it on Tuesday..the kiddos can come to school and change shirts in our bathroom that morning)

One of our caterpillars came out of its cocoon today! We are anxiously awaiting the other butterflies to emerge!

I sure do love this group and will miss them so much!
