May Citizen of the Month

Yay Avery!
She was chosen by her peers as the
May Citizen of the Month and our final
Citizen of the Month for Kindergarten!

Today was also our final library check out day for the year.
Students may keep their books until next Tuesday.
All students who return their books before the end of the year or pay fines for lost books will receive a prize from Mrs. Fitch.

This week we started our final science unit of Kindergarten:
Force & Motion
This unit is team taught with Mrs. Fitch.
We are learning about force, pushes, pulls, friction, etc.
We will spend 1-2 hours doing science each morning this week and conclude the unit on Monday.
Ask your child to tell you about the pictures below.

Thank you for such a wonderful start to Teacher Appreciation Week!  I loved all of the flowers from students yesterday and sweet letters, cards and pictures today!  My new door decorations are awesome and totally me!
PTA spoiled us with breakfast from Panera, drinks and grab and go snacks yesterday.  Today we had a baked potato bar catered by D. Rowes and tomorrow are 10 minute massages and gifts in our teacher mailboxes.  We are so fortunate to work at such a kind and giving school!  I count my blessings every day for this school, the many wonderful and supportive children and most importantly your amazing children that you share with me everyday!  I love each and every one of them!
